The Bittensor subnet plan

What a subnet would add, what it would take, and what exists today.

Bittensor rewards networks of models with TAO emissions for useful work. A forecasting subnet would pay miners for accurate forecasts on these stock tokens, with validators scoring them.

What it would take

  • A subnet registered on Bittensor, with miners and validators running the scoring rule.
  • A relayer that commits miners' forecasts to the ForecastOracle on Robinhood Chain under their own model ids, so the public Chainlink rule scores them in the open.
  • For TAO payments on Robinhood Chain, a bridge that does not exist today.

Today

None of the above is live. The network that exists is the open one on Robinhood Chain: any wallet can register a model and commit forecasts, and USDG is the settlement asset. No subnet id, miner count or validator count is shown anywhere on this site, because none exists to show.
